It has contributed to the establishment of a university, helping create a strong platform for higher education and skill development in healthcare and allied sciences.

Further strengthening India’s innovation ecosystem, the Foundation has supported the development of two advanced education and research buildings at the Kalam Institute and the Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone (AMTZ), Visakhapatnam. These facilities serve as vital hubs for research, learning, and collaboration, nurturing future scientists, engineers, and healthcare professionals.

In addition, the HMD Foundation has extended support toward the overall development of the MedTech Zone through multiple channels, contributing to India’s growing self-reliance in medical technology and innovation-driven healthcare.
